The new Mrs. Mohr is the daughter of Manuel and Elizabeth Acuña, Avondale, She is a 2000 graduate of Cibola High School, Yuma, Ariz. She earned a bachelor's degree in economics and a bachelor's degree in French at Arizona State University, Tempe, in 2004. She earned a doctorate in economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara, in 2009 and works as an economist at the Food and Drug Administration, Washington, D.C.
The bridegroom is the son of Roger and Karen Mohr, Broadlands. He is a 1999 graduate of Heritage High School. He earned a bachelor's degree in mathematics in 2003 and a master's degree in applied mathematics in 2004, both from the University of Illinois. He's pursuing a doctorate in economics at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and expects to graduate in June 2010.
After a wedding trip to Switzerland and France, they are at home in Washington, D.C.
