Beautiful Bands - by Greta Weiderman
Ornate options for wedding rings
If you’d like a little bling on your band, you’re in luck.
Kari Johnson, the manager of Browne’s Fine Jewelry in Champaign, said that many of today’s bridal wedding bands are adorned with diamonds.
Johnson’s advice for picking out the right wedding band?
“Try on as many as you can because a lot of things look different just sitting [in the display case] as opposed to on your hand,” she said.
On a practical note, Johnson recommended having your wedding band picked out and ordered two months before your wedding, and always get it sized.
Go with your instincts and choose something you’ll be comfortable wearing daily.
“Keep in mind that it’s something you’re going to want to wear for the rest of your life,” Johnson said.
